There are many different cases of running related injuries. Most of them are caused by the use of improper footwear, or just overall bad form. Finding the perfect shoe for yourself can make all the difference during and your post-run workouts. In the following, there will be a set of instructions to cure your aches, pains, and complaints caused by running.

  1. Overuse of Shoes – While minimalist to barefoot running is becoming a widely popular trend, it may be a time for you to get a new pair of shoes. This is because the feet and the rest of the body haven’t gotten enough time to adapt to the minimalist support. It’s hard to just switch to near barefoot running when you’ve been running with heavily cushioned shoes all of your life because your entire body adapted to the way your feet contact the ground.
  2. Not Enough Stretching –  This factor causes all sorts of problems. From plantar fasciitis to back pain and even neck pain. It’s not the end of the world when obtaining an injury but by simply stretching can, one, improve your athletic performances, two, prevent injury, and three, keeps the green stuff in your wallet. However, if the injury was detected at an early enough stage here is some equipment and preventative measures to keep you in your running shoes.
